The Makadi Palace
Review of The Makadi Palace Hotel
Reviewed 2nd January 2019
We have been going to this hotel for 8 years (25 visits) now and have seen many changes over the years both good and bad, but it is still an amazing place which we can’t fault, it has become our second home.
Breakfast- lovely freshly cooked eggs, my favourite is a spicy omelette, plus a great Variety of hot and cold foods. You can even have doughnuts if that takes your fancy.
Lunch - food in the Sunset & Rendezvous is freshly cooked to order, there is also the option of the Dome and BBQ outside the Melange with plenty of choices, you definitely won’t go hungry.
Dinner - A great selection of all inclusive restaurants, some within the hotel, with the rest in the Mall just outside, , we also use the ones in the Grand or if you prefer there is the Dome (booking not required) with a great selection of foods We love the freshly prepared pasta dishes. We would also recommend trying the new menu in the Thai Gardens it is amazing.
All the staff are absolutely amazing (too many to mention), friendly and always willing to help with a smile., we just love them to bits, they definitely make sure our visit is enjoyable.
The grounds are beautifully laid out and maintained with a choice of sunbeds and sun chairs, we have never had a problem getting out favourite spot. Also in the evening they are beautifully lit up giving an amazing romantic atmosphere.
The pools are cold at this time of year, but the sea is fine and we would recommend snorkelling, you get to see some amazing fish.
The rooms are dated, but large and spotlessly clean, with beds that you can get lost in they are so big and comfortable.
We would highly recommend it, we have had yet another amazing relaxing holiday, can’t wait to return in 2019.
