Centara Villas offers great value and a quiet location set away from the busier parts of the island. Truly a secluded hideaway, the resort cascades down a gentle hillside to a beautiful,  tranquil private beach with calm waters and a coral reef to explore. Across the road, stroll through tropical grounds and Butterfly Garden where butterflies come to play and birds flit from tree to tree.  Relax in this peaceful retreat away from the bustle of the city.

Dining options include a Thai café, a barbecue bar and restaurant by the beach and a cocktail lounge with live music.  There are three swimming pools including a kids' pool, a private beach, playground, kayak, bike and vehicle rental, table tennis and a spa. The resort also runs a shuttle to Lamai, Chaweng and Nathon (small charge THB25 or 50).

100 Thai style villas scattered amongst large gardens sloping down to the beach, all with airconditioning, television, telephone, minibar, tea and coffee facilities, terrace, hairdryer and safe.

• The Full Moon Party takes place every month on the full moon and is a spectacular outdoor beach party featuring great DJ’s, entertainers, fire poi and dancing that goes on until the sun rises. A memorable party to experience!
• The Secret Buddah Garden is hidden in the hills of Samui and is more difficult to get to, but worth the trek. At 77 years old, Samuian fruit farmer Nim Thongsuk started building this beautiful garden filled with exquisite statues and foliage.
