With a watersports centre, Par 3 Executive golf course, two lovely swimming pools, tennis courts, an Adventure Zone and Family Entertainment centre, Golden Sands is a lively beachfront resort perfect for keeping all the family happy. The resort offers casual and relaxed dining including gorgeous new Sigi's Bar & Grill directly on the beach offering delicious wood fire oven pizzas and barbecued seafood. The sleek Cool Lounge is a great area to hang out in, with internet, magazines, five televisions and refreshments. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle bust to UNESCO World Heritage Site, George Town, Malaysia's oldest colonial city.

    Best time to visit

    Malaysia experiences a tropical climate year round, but weather conditions can be very different between East and West.

    The capital Kuala Lumpur has warm temperatures year round, and is driest June-August.

    The West coast beach resorts of Penang and Langkawi are best experienced from December-April, while the East coast resorts can be rather wet in November and December but will often experience lots of sunshine alongside some showers during all other months of the year.
