They are fully equipped with bath or shower, WC, air conditioning, satellite TV, radio, safety deposit box and hairdryer. Use of the telephone and mini-bar is payable locally. Superior rooms, which are larger than standard rooms, are also available.

Outside of the city, desert safaris and trips to see Bedouin villages are popular, to experience how the desert tribes-people live.

Other nearby attractions include the ancient monasteries of St Paul and St Anthony, Roman ruins in the desert sands, and the short climb up Anfish Mountain, an amazing place from which to view the stunning sunset panorama over the sea.
